Charts

Price candles with the strongest nodes drawn behind them: panes and layouts, intervals and sessions, exposure styles, the side board and profiles.

At a glance
  • Candles with nodes behind them: each candle carries the strongest nodes of that moment, as orbs or bands.
  • Up to four panes in eight layouts, with optional sync of interval, crosshair and time range.
  • The side board docks the heatmap or a Multimap beside the charts, following the focused pane.
  • Profiles save a whole setup; One chart and Trinity come built in.

The top bar

One bar runs above every pane. Most of it acts on the focused pane, the one you last clicked; a few settings act on every chart, as noted.

ControlWhat it does
SymbolThe focused pane's symbol. Each pane also has a symbol button in its top-left corner.
1m·3m·5m·15m·30m·1H·4H·1DThe candle interval of the focused pane (3m to start), or of every pane with interval sync on.
RTH·ETHRegular hours (09:30–16:00 ET), or extended hours with the overnight session from 20:15 ET. Only shown for symbols with an overnight session, such as SPX and SPXW. Set per pane.
GEX·VEXWhich exposure the charts draw. Switches every pane at once.
Chart settingsThe exposure style, expirations, nodes per candle and colours. Applies to every chart.
Layout and syncHow many panes, how they are arranged, and what they share.
IndicatorsStudies over the candles. See Indicators and drawings.
ProfilesSwitch, save, rename or delete whole setups.
Heatmap·MultimapOpen the side board with that view; click again to close it.
ReplayPlay back a past session. See Replay.

Exposure on the candles

The chart settings menu (the button showing the current style, such as Orbs · Front · ≥20%) decides how the nodes are drawn behind the candles. It applies to every chart.

SettingOptions
StyleOrbs (default): a bubble per node per candle. Bands: a channel per strike that thickens and thins. Off: candles only.
ExpirationsFrom Front (default) up to All, with the same date ranges as the heatmap.
Nodes on each candleThe Biggest 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20, or every node At least % of King: 10% to 60% (20% to start).
Node labelsThe latest candle's nodes labelled with their share of the King, at the right edge. On by default.
ColoursGold / violet·Green / red·Blue / white
Orb and band size50% to 200%.
Opacity30% to 100%.
CandlesMono·Green / red·Blue / grey

Size and brightness follow each node's size against the biggest King of the day, so a node that grows through the session visibly gets bigger and a level that melts away fades out. The link at the bottom of the menu resets colours, size and candles.

Panes and layouts

SettingOptions
LayoutSingle·2 side by side·2 stacked·3 side by side·1 wide + 2·1 tall + 2·2 × 2·1 wide + 3
Sync: IntervalChanging one pane's interval changes every pane. Off by default.
Sync: CrosshairHovering one pane shows the same time in the others. On by default.
Sync: Time rangeScrolling or zooming one pane moves the others to the same times. Off by default.
  • Up to four panes. A new pane takes the next of SPXW, SPY, QQQ and NDX, with the last pane's settings.
  • Drag the dividers to resize panes; double-click a divider to even it out again.
  • The round buttons at a pane's bottom right scroll back to the latest bar and, with more than one pane, maximise the pane or restore the layout.
  • Right-click a chart to reset its view or remove its drawings.

Reading a pane

  • The legend shows the candle's open, high, low, close and change, then the strike under the crosshair with its value, or King, or its share of the King.
  • Times are New York time (ET), the exchange's, wherever you are.
  • options-implied next to the price means the symbol's price on this chart comes from its options.
  • Charts load up to 5,000 bars. At the left edge a card offers to replay the day before; older days are in Replay.

The side board

Heatmap or Multimap in the top bar docks a board beside the charts, on the right to start (it can move to the left). Drag its edge to make it wider or narrower.

  • Heatmap shows the focused pane's symbol, with its own expirations menu (front expiration to start), separate from the orbs on the chart.
  • Multimap shows up to four symbols side by side (SPXW, SPY and QQQ to start), each summed over the front expiration, in the chart's metric. Add a symbol with the + button.
  • Display options (the sliders button in its header) apply to that tab only: how nodes read, low nodes, velocity badges, text size and the Net column. Colours, numbers, board style and the tooltip follow Heatmap settings.
  • Clicking a cell opens the node's details. In replay the side board follows the replay clock.

Profiles

A profile is a whole chart setup: the layout and split sizes, each pane's symbol, interval, exposure and hours, the sync switches, the side board, and the colours. Changes save to the profile you are on as you make them.

  1. 1
    Built in
Two profiles ship with the app: One chart (SPXW with the heatmap beside it) and Trinity (SPXW, SPY and QQQ side by side, synced, with a Multimap of the same three). They can't be renamed or deleted, but Reset puts a changed one back to how it ships.
  2. 2
    Your own
New profile from this setup saves the current setup under a new name. Up to 20 profiles, with names of up to 40 characters.
  3. 3
    Rename or delete
From the profile menu. Deleting the profile you are on switches to One chart.

Common questions

Why is there no ETH switch on my chart?

Only symbols with an overnight session have one, such as SPX and SPXW. Stocks and ETFs show regular hours. Replay always plays regular hours.

Can one pane show GEX and another VEX?

No: the metric switch changes every pane at once.

The chart says "No candles for this symbol yet".

The session has not started, the market is closed, or the symbol had no recorded prices at that time. See Symbols, sessions and data.

I scrolled back and the candles stop.

Charts load up to 5,000 bars. For older days, use Replay; the card at the left edge starts one for the day before.
