Welcome to the TrueGEX docs

How to use every part of TrueGEX: where things are, what you can change, and what each view is for. Start here if you are new.

TrueGEX shows where options dealers are positioned, live at every strike, for 230+ symbols: on heatmaps, on your charts, and next to the options tape. For how to read the levels and trade around them, use the Academy inside the app.

The views

The app also has an Academy ( in the sidebar): lessons built on real past sessions, with practice you can play through.

Your first session

    Sign in
    Open app.truegex.com and continue with Discord or Whop. See Account and access.

    Start on SPXW
    The app opens on the SPXW heatmap: the S&P 500 options most traders watch during the day. Find the price line and the gold star (the King).

    Learn the words
    Spend two minutes on Key terms, then take the Academy's first lessons.

    Make it yours
    Add your symbols to Favourites, open the Multimap or a chart, and set the board the way you like it in Heatmap settings.

    Look back
    Use Replay to watch a past session unfold, minute by minute.

Good to know

  • Times are New York time (ET) everywhere in the app.
  • Your setup lives in your browser. Boards, settings, watchlists, chart profiles and Flow presets are remembered on the computer and browser you set them in. See Settings and saved data.
  • The status dot tells you whether data is live, delayed or from the last session. See Symbols, sessions and data.
